briefly: I have been married to my best friend and beautiful wife, Monica, for nearly 14 years.  We have been greatly blessed with six incredible children, aged 5 years to 11 years.  (Yes, six kids in six years - not only have we been busy but it looks like we will remain busy for quite some time.)  I was born in the small college town of Wooster, Ohio, but moved with my family to southwest Florida as a child.  I grew up in Naples, Florida, served in ministry in the Nashville area and northwest of Atlanta, and am now ministering in Scottsdale, Arizona.  I am lead pastor at Scottsdale Family Church and enjoy the relationships we have developed with some amazing people.  I love spending time with my family, enjoy fresh air while exploring the great outdoors and suffer from constant wanderlust.  I am regularly tempted by Breyer’s rocky road ice cream, great and not-so-great books, experiencing other cultures, traveling off the beaten path and chatting with friends over soft tacos from Chipotles.  I am passionate about my journey as a Christ-follower, my relationship with my wife and kids and being faithful in doing what I can to make a positive difference in this world.
