Ok… I was hoping this post would be about Warner and Fitz hooking up for a last second touchdown to put the Cardinals ahead of the Steelers but…

… since that didn’t happen last night I believe this Super Bowl moment is my all-time favorite.  Interestingly enough, it didn’t happen on the field during game-time but on a stage during halftime.  Those of you who know me know I am a huge U2 fan as it is, but their performance at halftime of the 2002 super Bowl was classic.

Yet even more powerful (to me at least) than their performance was the prayer Bono shared during that performance.  Many people may have missed it (including me initially) because he prayed in the midst of a song.  Remember, this was a few months after the tragedy of 9/11…

Enjoy the entire performance but be sure to pay special attention around the 6:30 mark of this clip to hear Bono praying.  What does he say?  Oh Lord, open my lips that I might show forth thy praise. Oh Lord, open my lips.
